Orofacial clefts are one of the most common congenital defects. They can be isolated or associated with syndromes. Their etiology multifactorial, involving both genetic and environmental factors. The therapeutic management of these children extends from birth to adolescence and involves several professionals, including the surgeon, pediatric dentist, orthodontist, and speech therapist. The realization of palatal obturators in newborns, constituting the only part of the overall treatment, allow normal
